Join artist Enam Gbewonyo and Laurence Sillars, Head of the Henry Moore Institute and curator of Lungiswa Gqunta: Sleep in Witness as they discuss the work and themes of the exhibition.

About the speakers

Enam Gbewonyo’s practice investigates identity, womanhood, and humanity through the mediums of textiles and performance. She advocates handcraft’s spiritual healing powers, using processes like embroidery, knit, weave, print and wirework. Her curatorial work is dedicated to highlighting artists from Africa and its diaspora.
