Alison Smith

Following Government advice about coronavirus (Covid-19), the Henry Moore Institute is currently closed until further notice.

We will attempt to reschedule disrupted events where this is possible. Find out more.

Wood and other natural materials play a central role in Varga Weisz’s work, and many of her pieces feel as though they belong in a forest, or a folklore tale.

Join local artist Kerri Butterworth to make playful sculptures using natural materials.

Accessibility

For visitors with pushchairs or other access issues, there is an accessible entrance to the Institute via a lift on Cookridge Street, and a passenger lift to all floors of the building.

You will be able to store pushchairs in the seminar room for the duration of the event.

Toilets are located just outside the seminar room on the basement level, including baby changing facilities within the accessible and gender-neutral toilet.

Please see our accessibility page for more information.

Due to our current closure, all of our events are postponed until further notice. We will attempt to reschedule whenever it is possible to do so. Thank you for your understanding.
