Guided tours of Edward Allington: Things Unsaid

Alison Smith

Discover the work of Edward Allington, a British artist who was fascinated with classical forms and their presence in our everyday lives. Enjoy a tour of the exhibition with Engagement Curator Alison Smith, then take part in a guided drawing activity inspired by Allington’s ideas.

Visits can be tailored to all audiences, and to key stages (1-5). Due to restricted space in our galleries, groups are limited to 20 pupils at a time. Joint visits to Leeds Art Gallery and Henry Moore Institute can be arranged for larger groups.

For school groups visits can be tailored to link to the curriculum, in particular to draw on themes of geometry, maths and the architecture of Ancient Greece and Rome.

Please contact Alison Smith, Engagement Curator, to book your visit.
