Annual guest lecture 2017: Hilary Lloyd in conversation with Jennifer Higgie

Friday, 20 October 2017

Henry Moore Lecture Theatre, Leeds Art Gallery, starting at 6pm

Artist Hilary Lloyd will be in conversation with Jennifer Higgie (writer and the editorial director of Frieze) at this year's annual guest lecture to cap off our academic open day.

Please note that this event will take place next door to the Institute, in the Henry Moore Lecture Theatre located on the ground floor of Leeds Art Gallery. Currently closed, the Art Gallery is undergoing extensive refurbishment and will open its doors to the public once more on 13 October.

Hilary Lloyd has exhibited internationally, with recent solo exhibitions at Greene Naftali, New York (2017); Dorich House Museum, Kingston-upon-Thames (2017); Temple Bar Gallery + Studios, Dublin (2017). In 2016 Lloyd was the recipient of the Bryan Robertson Trust Award, and in 2011 she was nominated for the Turner Prize. Forthcoming solo exhibitions include Focal Point Gallery, Southend-on-Sea and 356 S. Mission Road, Los Angeles.
