Things to Come

Join us at the Hyde Park Picture House for a screening of 'Things to Come' (1936) by Director William Cameron Menzies (108 minutes, black and white).

A visually sweeping sci-fi classic full of futuristic vistas and modern cityscapes, 'Things to Come' is based on a story by H.G. Wells and adapted for screen by Wells himself. Beginning before World War II and travelling to 2036, the journey predicts a host of modernities before following a rocket ship to the moon.

With an introduction by Lisa Le Feuvre, Head of Sculpture Studies.
