Henry Moore Studios & Gardens

At Henry Moore’s former home in Hertfordshire, our Studios & Gardens are open to visitors each summer. The gardens showcase Moore's iconic sculptures in a beautiful setting.

Our Studios & Gardens are now closed until April 2017.

On site you can explore over 70 acres of gardens and countryside, showing the artist’s iconic work against the landscape he shaped. You can also take a tour of the Moore family’s home and the beautiful gardens created by Irina Moore. The artist's studios give you the chance to see behind the scenes and appreciate how Moore’s sculptures – large and small – were created.

Alongside the inspiring studios and sculpture gardens, we have recently opened a new visitor centre.  Here you can enjoy delicious refreshments in our new cafe or find art books and exclusive gifts in our shop.

As well as being an inspirational day out for the whole family, your visit helps to support the wider work of the Henry Moore Foundation and preserve Moore’s own legacy.

Henry Moore Studios & Gardens is also home to the Henry Moore Archive.
