Henry Moore Studios & Gardens

Henry Moore Studios & Gardens is the work-place and family home of 20th century sculptor Henry Moore: with over 70 acres of sculpture gardens & rolling fields. Each year our sculpture gardens display over 20 of Moore's world-famous, monumental sculptures; showcasing his work as he intended, against the landscape he shaped.

Six different studio spaces reveal Moore's creative process, including his maquette, carving, etching and drawing studios, while the 16th century Aisled Barn is the only place in the world to see his unique tapestries.

In 2021, you are also invited to explore the role of touch in Henry Moore’s sculpture in our exhibition This Living Hand, curated by acclaimed artist and author, Edmund de Waal.

Opening dates 2021

31 March - 31 October 2021.
Wednesdays to Sundays and Bank Holidays,  11am – 5pm

Winter Weekends: 6 November - 12 December 2021
Saturdays & Sundays, 11am - 4pm. Last entry 3pm.

Following the latest relaxation in government restrictions, to keep our staff and visitors safe and make sure you have an enjoyable experience, we have decided to keep social distancing and some other covid safety measures in place until further notice. These include reduced capacity, sanitising stations on site and increased levels of hygiene standards.

We would appreciate it if all visitors would continue to wear face masks in our indoor spaces

The Aisled Barn, which houses unique tapestries based on Henry Moore's drawings, is available for weddings and events. When there is an event taking place, the barn will be closed to visitors. You can find a full list of event dates for 2021 on the Aisled Barn page. The barn will be closed on most Saturdays until the end of October.

Please note, while we welcome all badged assistance dogs, pet dogs are not permitted in the sculpture gardens and may not be left in vehicles in our car parks.

We look forward to welcoming you to Henry Moore Studios & Gardens.
