Second Skin examines the extraordinary products of life casting in a sculptural context. 19th Century examples of life casting, selected from the exhibition A Fleur de Peau at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris, provide a historical context in which to consider more recent sculptures that reveal how contemporary artists use life casting for their own ends.
