We aim to provide a stimulating environment in which to explore sculpture. Our educational activities make links to our exhibition programme, and provide excellent opportunities for focused and enriching learning experiences.
We offer free guided visits for groups of up to 20 pupils, which include a guided tour of our galleries and a short creative activity inspired by the work.
We work in close partnership with our neighbours at Leeds Art Gallery and can run parallel visits for school groups, suitable for up to 40 pupils.
For secondary schools, we can also provide tours of our library and archive and, for KS5 and FE, run short research activities to familiarize students with our extensive sculpture library.
Due to the current coronavirus situation, we are unable to accommodate group visits. We hope to be able to resume school visits when government restrictions are lifted.
