Research fellowships

Our Grants programme supports up to three two-year Post-doctoral Research Fellowships in the field of sculpture studies.

Managed by the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds, Post-doctoral Fellowships are available to researchers who have recently completed their doctoral studies. These grants are designed to assist scholars in preparing a substantial publication or similar research output.

Applicants must have an affiliation with a British university department, who will act as the host to the Fellow. Fellowships run for two years and Fellows will be expected to present their work to the Henry Moore Institute on a quarterly basis.

Fellowship applications are handled by our research team. Full details of how to apply for Post-doctoral Research Fellowships, as well information on our shorter Visiting Research Fellowships, internships, essay prizes and calls for papers, can be found on our Research Opportunities pages.

Please note that the deadline to apply for our 2017-18 Visiting Research Fellowships has now passed.
