Henry Moore was an avid collector of books on art and other subjects that informed his work. He also collected publications that featured his own work.
Newspapers: We have over 58,000 newspaper cuttings dating from 1928. Some cuttings are catalogued and you can browse through the cuttings by appointment Books: we have over 3750 books which reference Moore. dating from 1930. These include Henry Moore Catalogues Raisonnés, monographs on Moore's life and works, the original 5 volume Bibliography (1898 to 1991) and Moore's personal library of over 3,300 books
