About the Foundation
The Henry Moore Foundation was founded by the artist and his family in 1977 to encourage public appreciation of the visual arts. Today we support innovative sculpture projects, devise an imaginative programme of exhibitions and research worldwide, and preserve the legacy of Moore himself: one of the great sculptors of the 20th century, who did so much to bring the art form to a wider audience.
Find out more about the Henry Moore Foundation's programmes, including our two centres in Leeds and Hertfordshire, our touring exhibitions, collections and our wide ranging Grants programme.
Our staff are based across our two sites: The Henry Moore Institute in Leeds and Henry Moore Studios & Gardens in Hertfordshire.
Our Board of Trustees is drawn from a range of backgrounds, their experience and expertise helps to guide the Foundation's mission and activities.
We publish an overview of our activities across the Foundation every two years, including details on our exhibitions, our research interests, work we have acquired for our sculpture and archival collections, and the organisations we have partnered with or supported through grant funding.
