Making Space: Scale, the Studio, the Square

In the 1960s Moore’s sculptural ideas were realised at a larger scale than he had ever previously imagined. Moore’s home and studios underwent significant changes to facilitate this vision and new civic spaces around the globe were created to house the works.

Join Hannah Higham, curator of Henry Moore: the Sixties, for a short talk exploring key moments in the development of Moore’s large-scale sculpture and its impact on how we think about public art.

Gallery talks are included in your admission ticket. Please make your way to the exhibition gallery, talks begin at 2.30pm and last around 15 minutes.
