The Bourne Maquette Studio is named after the small stream running through this section of the grounds. It is the latest studio on site, purpose built by Moore around 1970 as a modelling studio. Here he worked on maquettes for many recognisable works and also sketched the flocks of sheep that he could see from the studio window.
