Group visits to The Henry Moore Foundation

We welcome groups of all kinds to The Henry Moore Foundation, one of Hertfordshire leading day out attractions and one of the UK's finest art destinations.

We are recommending that groups book early for our 2010 Visitor Season, running 30 March - 30 August.  This is firstly because the season ends earlier than usual due to important building work, and secondly because we expect increased demand due to the Henry Moore exhibition at Tate Britain (24 February - 8 August 2010).

The estate here at the Foundation includes over 70 acres of outdoor sculpture grounds, as well as the artist's restored house and studios. There is a world class exhibition gallery showing Henry Moore deluxe: books, prints & portfolios.  Groups are taken round by experienced guides, with the option of coffee on arrival and a chance to visit the shop on departure.

This season, for the first time ever, we are delighted to offer pre-booked groups a locally-sourced, restaurant quality lunch in the medieval Aisled Barn.  Please ask for details of the two available menus when you book.

We are looking forward to the reopening of The Hoops Inn on the estate in Autumn 2010. It is currently being refurbished.

Perry Green was home to Henry Moore and his wife Irina for over 40 years and is one of Hertfordshire’s leading cultural tourist attractions.  It is easily reached from the M11, A10 and A1(M), Stansted airport or Bishops’ Stortford rail station.

All visits are booked in advance to help manage numbers. Please call Jessica Melton or Terry Millson on 01279 843 333.
