Educational visits
Book now for your free 2012 visit on 01279 844104.
For 2012, all schoolchildren who come as part of an organised visit will get a voucher allowing them to bring back an adult to Perry Green for free later in the season.
We welcome many schools and colleges every year.
The Foundation is open until 28 October 2012. Groups are guided around the gardens, studios, galleries and workshops. Bookings can be made for one class (30 pupils) and their adult helpers on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.
The guided tour takes approximately 1½ hours. The tour is mostly outside therefore visitors must be dressed for the weather.
A class of pupils and their helpers will be split into two smaller groups and a guide will be provided for each group. We ask for adults to accompany pupils in order that our volunteer guides are not asked to supervise.
** New in the Sheep Field Barn Gallery this year is our Hands On Trolley, where school visitors can pick up tools, found objects and plaster texture tiles to help them understand Moore's work on the plaster sculptures on show there.
The tour ends at the visitor centre and shop, where there are picnic tables - some under cover. We ask that you leave the estate by 1.30pm.

There are many safety hazards on the estate, unguarded ponds, steep banks and ditches, etc. You may find it advisable to visit us for a recce. Risk assessment guidelines are available by clicking on the link to the right.
A publication that will help you with pre and/or post visit projects is available from the Henry Moore Foundation, £8. An Introduction to Henry Moore provides a general overview of the artist’s life and work. You may buy items by following the links to the right.
