The restoration of Hoglands

Hoglands remained in the possession of the Moore family until 2004, when they were acquired by the Foundation. Following an eighteen month period of building work which ended in November 2006, many of the original contents have been re-installed to allow visitors the opportunity of seeing the ground floor of the house and the adjacent etching studio as they would have looked about 1970, when Moore’s reputation was at its height and his art collection at its most complete.
