Moore in America is being covered by Atlanta Botanical Garden staff in a blog here, giving among other things insights into the installation of the exhibition, and the people behind it.
Consisting of 20 large-scale works by Henry Moore, positioned throughout the intimate gardens and plant collections of Atlanta Botanical Garden, this exhibition highlights the inspiration that Moore took from the natural environment and his pleasure at seeing his work in a landscape setting. Marking the garden’s expansion and the opening of the new Visitors Centre this provides another exciting opportunity to view these works in the open air.
Moore in America runs through to 31 October 2009.
Support for this exhibition has being provided by the MetLife Foundation and The UPS Foundation.
