Outreach projects

One of Henry Moore’s reasons for setting up the Henry Moore Foundation in 1977 was to continue communicating enthusiasm for sculpture and the arts in general. To this end, the Foundation has been working to develop links with local schools and museums by devising and working on educational projects aimed at children of all ages.

The point of these projects for young people is not that they should reproduce Moore’s sculptures and drawings, but that by using his methods and experimenting with different materials they may make something entirely their own.
