Events

This two day conference critically examines the relationships between Moore and Hepworth in the county of their birth. It aims to explore the specificity of place, re-examining the imagery of landscape and asks what impact art education and regional art galleries and collections had on their lives and works.

The conference will cover the current exhibitions of Moore's sculptural and graphic work at Leeds Art Gallery and the Henry Moore Institute, as well as the newly opened Hepworth Wakefield Gallery, Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Longside Gallery. A full programme of events will be released soon.
