The Archive is situated with the library on the first floor of the Henry Moore Institute. Unlike the library, you must write, telephone or e-mail in advance to make an appointment.
Archive rules
When first visiting the archive you must complete an application form and produce proof of identity. You are expected to read the archive rules and sign them in acceptance of their conditions.
Opening hours
Open by prior appointment only
Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm, closed for lunch between 1pm and 2pm and on bank holidays.
The Archive is often busy and it is advisable to give at least four weeks' prior notice of your preferred date to visit.
Opening Hours Summer 2013 - limited opening July and August
The Archive opening hours will be reduced for a six week period from Monday 1 July - Friday 9 August. The Archive will be open for appointments on Wednesdays only, from 10 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm. The restricted opening hours will be in place in order for the cataloguing and preparation of recent acquisitions to be undertaken.
