Elain Harwood is a historian with English Heritage, and is writing a book on English architecture 1945-79 for Yale University Press.  She also contributed the section on Leeds University to the Pevsner City Guide to Leeds, by Susan Wrathmell (2005), and is writing a PhD on the architecture of London's South Bank.
