The Henry Moore Authentication Committee
Meeting twice a year at Perry Green, the Committee offers an unbiased opinion on works purported to be by Henry Moore.
The next meetings will be held in Autumn 2012 - date to be determined
The Committee is comprised of:
Chairman: Richard Calvocoressi, Director, The Henry Moore Foundation
Anita Feldman, Head of Collections and Exhibitions, The Henry Moore Foundation
David Mitchinson, Consultant, former Head of Collections and Exhibitions, The Henry Moore Foundation
Antony Griffiths, Consultant, former Keeper of Prints and Drawings, The British Museum
There is a charge of £300 + VAT for presenting a work to the Committee; delivery of the work and its return shall be at the expense and sole responsibility of the applicant, who will also be solely responsible for insurance of the work at all times.
If you wish a work to be considered for the process of authentication please follow the steps below:
1. Complete the Information Sheet (pdf) and submit, together with digital images to authentication@henry-moore.org
2. If your request is accepted you will be notified of the next available meeting date and sent an Agreement Form.
3. In order to proceed you will be asked to complete and return an Agreement Form (pdf), together with payment in full, at least 30 days prior to the advised meeting date.
