The Archive of Sculptors' Papers is situated on the first floor of the Henry Moore Institute, on the Headrow, Leeds, as part of the Research Library.
We are delighted to have reopened after a temporary closure of more than five months due to Covid-19.
The Archive of Sculptors' Papers is free to visit and open to anyone who wishes to explore the collection.
You must make an appointment in advance to visit. Please browse the online catalogue then contact our Archivist Errin Hussey to discuss what you would like to access, and she will manage your appointment.
It is advisable to get in touch at least a month to your preferred date to visit.
The archive is open via prior appointment only, Tuesday to Friday, 10am-5pm.
The Institute is closed on bank holidays.
Using the Archive
The archive is free to use. When visiting for the first time you will need to complete a registration form and produce proof of your identity. The form includes our archive rules and by signing the form you accept these conditions.
Visiting the Henry Moore Institute
In order to effectively manage the building and allow for social distancing, we are limiting visitor numbers and are asking all visitors to book tickets to the Research Library or Sculpture Galleries in advance. If you have not booked in advance you may be asked to wait for a short time until there is space.
