What we do
The Henry Moore Foundation runs two venues, in Leeds and Hertfordshire, showing a mix of Moore’s own work and other sculpture. We also fund a variety of sculpture projects through our Henry Moore Grants and Research programmes and we have a world-class collection of artworks which regularly tour both nationally and internationally.

We welcome visitors to Henry Moore Studios & Gardens in Hertfordshire, on the site of Henry Moore’s family home and estate. Here the grounds show wonderful sculptures in their original setting, the studios are preserved as Moore left them and his family home is open to the public. Also on this site, we look after the largest collection of Moore’s work in the world, while our archive offers researchers an unrivalled resource.
The Henry Moore Institute, a centre for the study and enjoyment of sculpture in the city of Leeds, has a varied programme of exhibitions and events and provides an invaluable sculpture resource for researchers, students and artists.
A registered charity, no. 271370, we award grants to arts organisations around the world, with a mission to bring great sculpture to as many people as possible.
