Gerard Byrne, Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster and Dorit Margreiter's films explore the nature of a previous generation's modernity through environments dating from the 1950's and 1960's; Leeds University, Niemeyer's Ibirapuera canopy, Hollywood sets in Los Angeles. The architecture is brought to life in different ways by a narrative sound-track which both underscores and undermines the architecture on view.
