NEW IN THE GROUNDS
Moore Outside with 30 monumental sculptures in the grounds - largest display of Moore's sculpture at Perry Green to date, unmatched worldwide.
Unseen work joins Henry Moore Plasters in the Sheep Field Barn gallery. Recently restored plaster for Relief No. 1 1959 on exhibition for first time; and our newly acquired drawing Four Figures in a Setting 1948.
Moore's first studio at Perry Green restored: The Top Studio now reflects its appearance in the 1940s - 1950s when many of Moore's iconic works were created.
The Lynx is back: new objects lent to us by The Henry Moore Family Collection go on display in Moore's home, Hoglands. A Persian stone figure of a Lynx 3rd - 4th century BC, an Aztec Volcanic Stone Head c.1350-1500 and Ivon Hitchens's painting Still Life, Cyclamen c1935, all of which belonged to Moore.
Film Corner: a selection of BBC films, including footage of Moore talking about his sculpture, will be on view in the Aisled Barn along with the unique Moore tapestries.

Moore Creative Sundays is a season of monthly free drop-in workshops April to September exploring various aspects of Moore's work in a fun, practical way. Part of entry ticket, all welcome, no experience needed. Workshops run 12pm - 4 pm on 9 April, 7 May, 4 June, 29 July, 27 August & 23 September.
Sculpting from Life 10-12 April - this course is for GCSE and A Level students, who will learn how to draw and model, studying the form, shape and proportion of the human body. Booking needed T: 01279 843333.
Half-term Art workshops 22-26 October - for families, children and adults. Sessions run throughout half term, looking at Moore's work with tapestry and textiles. Booking needed T: 01279 843 333.
The Hoops Inn Lunch Event on 30 March, with bubbly and a new spring menu to celebrate the seasonal re-opening of The Hoops. At 3pm, free guided walk of the grounds for lunch customers. www.hoops-inn.co.uk.
